Angela’s “Play Garden” was featured on the St Louis Sustainable Backyard Tour in 2013 in which she incorporated children into permaculture design. She created a natural playscape/“stump garden” for the Montessori Workplace in the city, and was included in a cohort of educators who gave input into the new nature playscape being built at Forest Park. She loves sharing her experience ways to give children deeper, more meaningful outdoor experiences in which tap into their creativity and growing athletic and cognitive abilities.

Angela also loves sharing her insights with cities, schools, camps or other groups about crafting open-ended, playful nature days or Forest School type experiences at any local parks. She has extra particular experience with, and knowledge of Jefferson Barracks Park, Bellefontaine Cemetery, Tower Grove Park and Webster Groves/Maplewood Area Parks.
